We usually congratulate ourselves on our decision making ability when desired outcomes are achieved. It’s only when making a decision becomes hard, difficult, unclear or paralysed that we begin to reflect on what process or by which means we make decisions. In the current global environment, in a context that many refer to as VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) making decisions and moving forward has become increasingly challenging. This is the context for this programme – working with the premise that in today’s world decision making is not easy even when we have a process to follow.
In this programme, participants will map and take a deeper look at how individual, team and organisational decision-making occur; evaluate what works and what hinders effective decision-making. Participants will have opportunities to explore the human dimensions of decision-making such as the impact of unconscious bias, beliefs, stories, intuition and wisdom.
When participants integrate the best practice decision-making knowledge with a deeper understanding of “ being human”, more effective decisions will be taken. Proficiency can be further enhanced by moving from consensus to consent. Are you ready to join us on the journey?
Please register as soon as possible. We have only 25 places for each workshop. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
