The Fund for Global Human Rights
We started working with FGHR in 2017; the human rights organisation saw a need to develop the leadership skills of its grantees in extremely challenging working conditions. We have provided support for 14 of their grantees mainly in North Africa and South America.
“This was a very enriching experience. Every one of the sessions was edifying and constructive.”
Client objectives
The primary, overall objective was for participating FGHR grantees to receive coaching they found useful to better understand their leadership styles and adapt to challenges facing their organisations and the wider human rights community.
Our Impact
In the first cohort of 8 participants, there was a strong positive response from 6 participants, while two were more challenged by technology, time commitments and conflicting priorities; the feedback gave an overwhelmed green light to continue our work in 2018.
“This was a very enriching experience. Every one of the sessions was edifying and constructive.”
“In my opinion, the training was so good that I asked to continue”.
The senior Director of Green Advocates gave positive feedback of The Kairos Project and said he would “recommend the program to anyone”.
